A midnight-blue kyanite cabochon paired with a faceted aquamarine trillion, set in raw, hand-sculpted brass bezels.

Kyanite forms under intense pressure deep in the earth, and its blue can run from inky to electric within a single stone. Aquamarine is a beryl colored by iron, named for the clear blue of seawater. One stone is dark and one is light inspired by the deep ocean and the shallows.

The setting is made with the lost wax technique, with bezels left raw and a sculptural, irregular surface. Entirely one of a kind.
